Global warming caused by the use of fossil fuels threatens our lives and the future of the next generation.
In near future, energy economy will move to the hydrogen economy, and the demand for hydrogen fuel cells and hydrogen vehicles will
increase as hydrogen energy is used.
The biggest problem in the commercialization of Hydrogen fuel cell is cost.
In particular, more than 70% of the cost of fuel cell comes from Membrane / Catalyst / GDL. Currently, commercially available Nafion of the PFSA series is excellent in performance but PFSA membranes are expensive, and hydrocarbon membranes are inexpensive, but they are inferior to PFSA.

MIDAS MATERIALS has developed both hydrocarbon-based and perfluorinated membranes that are superior in conductivity, cell performance, and strength to the currently used dupont’s Nafion and that exceed the performance required by U.S. Department of Energy.
